At Yaşar University Visual Perception Lab, we study a wide range of visual phenomena such as spatial perception and perspective taking in dynamic visual scenes, color perception, biological motion, short-term memory for rapid serial visual presentations and event segmentation. We examine visual perception using psychophysical experiments that employ various stimuli like natural scenes, movies, videos we create at the lab as well as color patches. In a productive, fun and synergic lab environment, we strive to understand everyday visual perception using current research topics in cognitive psychology. Certain projects at our lab are funded by Yaşar University Scientific Project grants.
